Leasing and tenancy forms

Residential leasing splits into two regimes with genuinely different rules. Renting out an HDB flat is subject to eligibility conditions, minimum occupation requirements and approval from HDB; renting out private residential property is not, but carries its own constraints on minimum stay and occupancy.

This category holds the standard tenancy agreement templates for both, plus the CEA checklists for each side of the transaction — landlord, tenant, and the agent acting for either. There is also a checklist directed specifically at Immigration Act and Women’s Charter compliance, which is the obligation to verify that a prospective tenant may lawfully be in Singapore and that the property is not being let for an unlawful purpose. That one is easy to treat as a formality and is not.

Commercial leasing is not covered by a CEA prescribed template. Where no official form exists, this library links to nothing rather than inventing one.
